Men’s Soccer aims in the league
Men’s soccer team is looking for eighth place Cougars this week as it heads to California to face Earth today in Fresno and Lancaster Rattlers on Saturday.
This is the first time the Cougars (2-5-2) and Fresno Fuego will compete in this season and the second time the Rattlers will meet.
“Fresno has proven to be the best team,” said junior forward and team captain BJ Pugmire. “We do not intend to play their files but it appears they are the better side.”
After the game against Lancaster last Friday, 01.04, offers Fresno the fifth in the Southwest Division with 11 points. Their record is 3-4-2.
With the loss Rattlers are in seventh place with a 2-5-3 record and nine points.
The Cougars sit in eighth place with eight points, and gives them more reason to make this trip to win in California.
“Our strength is our team defense overall,” said Tyler Arens, in the second year defender Riverton. “They keep us out of difficult situations in the game and have to hold the front attack.”
The Cougars attack to avenge their earlier loss to the Rattlers 1-0 in the season.

While the United Kingdom, Morgan was twice All-American for his performance in the distance medley relay in 2001 and 2003. He was also an All-SEC performer five times and seven NCAA Championship qualifiers.
Morgan is a graduate of the United Kingdom in 2003 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and in 2005 with a Master of Business Administration.

Mrs. Obama is Washington, DC to unveil children expanded mission of the Council, to introduce the 2010 Board Co-Chairs and Members
Washington, DC – Today, First Lady Michelle Obama, the youth of the Washington DC area joined forces to launch the President’s Council on Physical Fitness, Sports and nutrition and to present the 2010 Co-Chairs and members. In cooperation with the First Lady of Let’s Move! Initiative this year, Obama has expanded the scope of the Council, formerly the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and sport known to include focus on healthy eating habits and an active life. Yesterday the President signed an Executive Board to the determination of the re-emphasis of both good nutrition and fitness.
The President has named Drew Brees, QB New Orleans Saints and Dominique Dawes, three times world champion United States at the Olympic Games and a former national women’s gymnastics, 2010 Board Co-Chairs. Dawes gave a speech at the event and Brees has been taken to see a video message. Add Dawes at the event were members of the Council in 2010 Dan Barber Tedy Bruschi, Allyson Felix, Michelle Kwan, Curtis Pride, Donna Richardson Joyner, Dr. Ian Smith, Carl Edwards, Cornell McClellan and Dr. Stephen McDonough. Shellie Pfohl, Executive Director, was also present. After the announcement of the First Lady, Pfohl, and Council members, the children in a number of activity stations to participate.
“This year we extend the work of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness, Sports and nutrition is not only a focus on active lifestyles are, but on a healthy diet, too,” said Mrs Obama. “The Council is to help an important role in our efforts to combat childhood obesity in this country to play and I am grateful to the athletes, chefs, doctors and nutritionists that its time to provide help on making a difference. ”
President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports Nutrition is a volunteer citizens committee that the President shall consider the Secretary of Health and Social Services to develop, such as accessible, affordable and sustainable activity physical fitness, sports and nutrition programs for all Americans, whatever their age or origin or ability. The Council’s task is to engage, advice and support of all Americans to a healthy lifestyle that adopt regular exercise and healthy diet are.
