I wondered if I could use a web cam offbrand and it would still work on Xbox Live Best Answer.:

Sorry, but you can use the Xbox LIVE Vision camera. You can try to find a good market in the classifieds, but the price is unique and it comes with a free microphone to values less, so your only paying for the camera if you can sell the microphone. This is a good buy, and im probably get one tomorrow. I hope this helped

well, 360 ussually doesnt support other acceroris like a normal 2.5 SATA hardrive so maybe the 360 doesnt support other webcams, but i think it does, check it off the internet
