Question by some time: What can you tell me about NAMI the National Alliance of the Mentally Ill?
I have a bunch of stuff to share with you, but I want to know what you know first. Give me yours and then I will give you mine. You might want to check back later and see what I give you. I can add it in with my details later, you can add it in with your answer. Thanks so much for anyone and everyone that is willing to do this for me. Are you a member of NAMI? If you support it why do you support it? If you don’t support it why not? Are you a family member of a person that is affected by what they say they advocate for? Be nice, but say what you feel no matter what you think about it. Thanks
Both of you are talking about how you feel about how this has helped your daughters. I am wondering how they feel about it as well? Also do you believe that social programs could be seperated from having a brain disease so that more Americans could recieve the benefits of them? Can any of you parents out there tell me about ACT and what that is and how it works? How much scientific, valid, and reliable scientific medical evidence or proof do you think they have for doing what they are doing now? Do you know that these medications can cause real brain disease and other bodily diseases? Do you know that your little bit of money is nothing compared to the drug companies and psychiatrist that give NAMI over half of its funding? One more question, isn’t housing and stuff like that suppose to be for all poor and needy people or jobless people that need it? Why should having a mental illness/brain disease make one come first on the list, pay for their education, or write off loans?
